US : MIKE BROWN.

Graphic image telling the story of 1 year since Mike Brown's tragic death: They left him uncovered in the street for more than 4 hours. His neighbors slowly gathered around him. Heartbroken, but not surprised, they stayed in the streets to protest so the whole world could see - There's something wrong with Ferguson and there is something wrong with America. Police kill Black Americans at nearly the same rate as Jim Crow era lynchings. Charges are rarely filed against police officers. Convictions are even more rare. Out of 179 police killings in New York only 3 officers were indicted and of those 3 only 1 was convicted. There was no justice for Mike Brown - no peace for his family. And the families of so many others (Pictures of Aura Rosser, Sandra Bland, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Oscar Grant, Rekia Boyd, Kayla Moore.) But because of Ferguson protesters, more than 40 policing laws in 24 states have been passed, and we've seen a few indictments. Most importantly the whole world now knows about our struggle and we won't stop fighting to end discriminatory policing. Join the movement.
